You're about to hire an Odoo developer
You need someone on Odoo full-time, but one developer can't cover configuration, code, integrations and upgrades, and recruiting takes months.
Outsourced Odoo department
For companies that run on Odoo but don't want to build, staff and manage an Odoo team. We take ongoing responsibility for support, development, maintenance and upgrades, for one predictable monthly fee.
Who this is for
Most clients come to us at one of three moments.
You need someone on Odoo full-time, but one developer can't cover configuration, code, integrations and upgrades, and recruiting takes months.
Your partner bills by the hour, quotes every change and moves on once the project closes. You want a team that stays.
Tickets get closed, but nobody looks after the system as a whole, plans upgrades or improves how the business uses Odoo.
Why a department
Companies usually staff Odoo one of two ways. A single internal developer knows the system well, but covers one skill set, can't take a vacation without the queue stopping, and takes the knowledge with them when they leave.
A mix of consultants, freelancers and support providers covers more ground, but someone on your side has to coordinate them, and when something breaks, each one points to the others.
An outsourced Odoo department removes both problems. One team holds every responsibility, documents the work in your own Git repository and answers for the result.

The work behind a reliable Odoo system, and who carries it under each model.
| Responsibility | Single in-house developer | Several consultants and providers | The ERP Firm |
|---|---|---|---|
| Day-to-day user support | One person, during their working hours | A ticket desk, often a separate vendor | A shared request queue, with first response within 1 hour during PT business hours |
| Troubleshooting and outages | Depends on whether they are available | Each vendor investigates its own piece | One team traces the problem end to end, with a 24/7 emergency line |
| Custom development and integrations | Limited to one person's skills | Quoted and scheduled project by project | Configuration, Python, Owl JS, EDI, 3PL and storefront work in the same queue |
| Maintenance and monitoring | Often deferred behind feature work | Usually nobody's explicit job | Patches, monitoring, backup checks and a monthly health report |
| Version upgrades | A large project for one person | A separate project and quote | One version upgrade a year included |
| Documentation and code | Often in one person's head | Spread across vendors' repositories | Every change documented and committed to your Git |
| Vacation, illness and turnover | Work stops, and knowledge leaves with them | Depends on each vendor's bench | Covered by the team, with documented handover |
| Backlog and priorities | You manage the person | You coordinate the vendors | Your engagement lead runs a weekly priority call |
| Accountability when something breaks | One person, if they are still there | Shared, which often means nobody | The ERP Firm |
What's included
One request queue for everything below, worked in priority order with no cap on requests.
Not included: Odoo licenses, hosting, third-party app fees and full ERP migrations.
How it starts
If something is broken today, that comes first. Ongoing ownership starts from there.
A week-one health audit and a ranked roadmap, then the top ten issues fixed within 30 days, or the next month is free.
We take over day-to-day responsibility: support, monitoring, patches and a request queue delivered to written service levels.
We keep developing Odoo as you grow, through a standing backlog, a weekly priority call and the annual upgrade.
